Kittens are born more monochromatic - less bright.  At 4 weeks the colors begin to develop.  In the wild this would make them more visible to predators.  

So they get "fuzzies".  This is longer fur that help them camouflage in the wild.  It makes it hard to see the pattern to the untrained human eye.  

This longer fur falls out around 4 - 6 months of age.

After that, your kittens pattern will "pop" and be amazing (along with the maturing of the colors). 

We recommend kittens quaratine for at least 7 days in a smaller room with a litter box, food and water while getting use to the new sounds and smells.  

Homes with other animals we recommend blanket swapping and slow supervised introductions with productive playtime with both animals to create positive memories with first meetings.

We supply a couple days worth of food to slowly transition or continue.
We send home a blanket that smells like mom and the litter mates.
We send home familiar toys kittens are use too.
We also send them home with wet treats to help with the new introduction process.
